The history of vinegar is lost in the mists of time:
Egyptians, Babylonians and Persians used it to preserve food or as a refreshment drink.
Hippocrates "Great Master of Medicine", in Greece used it to treat wounds, sores and diseases of the respiratory system.
The Romans called vinegar diluted with water Posca and used it as a drink that gave strength: Posca fortem, vinum ebrium fecit.
